Cookies and storage
Last updated 15 October 2026
In short: ComdKit has no advertising or analytics cookies and no trackers, so there's nothing to
accept or decline. It only stores what the site and app need to work, and that stays in your browser or on your phone.
What ComdKit stores
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
Sign-in session (browser storage, keys sck.sb and sck.auth) | Keeps you signed in | Until you sign out or delete your account |
App storage (local storage keys starting sck. and fk., and IndexedDB) | Your orders, cards, routes, tracks, settings and keys, so they work offline | Until you delete them, clear the site's data or uninstall the app |
| Offline cache (service worker) | The app's files, map libraries and map tiles you've viewed or downloaded, so it opens and works without signal | Replaced when the app updates; downloaded map areas until you remove them |
These are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, so under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they don't need consent. ComdKit doesn't set cookies for anything else.
Other services
- Fonts are served from comdkit.com itself. Your browser doesn't contact Google to show them.
- Map tiles come from the map service you pick (Ordnance Survey, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, Esri, Mapbox or Google). Fetching a tile tells that service your IP address and the area you're looking at. ComdKit doesn't add cookies to these requests.
- Libraries in the web app (maps, PDFs, documents) load from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr, which see your IP address. The iPhone and Android apps carry their own copies.
- Hosting: Vercel serves the site and keeps short-lived request logs (including IP addresses). It sets no cookies on comdkit.com.
Clearing it
In a browser, clear the site data for comdkit.com in your browser's settings. In the app, uninstall it. Either way, anything only on your phone is gone, so export a backup first (Settings → Backup) if you want to keep it. See the privacy policy for what our server holds.
